That's wired, it's the first game I've played that must close my system kernel protection. So the game is unsafe, you just need to uninstall it.

There isn't really a non-sus reason that a video game could possibly have to even ask the user to disable HVCI, it's like saying leave your front door unlocked so that we can repave the driveway, you can trust us.

Considering the propensity of the chinese government to control or right out subvert leadership of chinese companies, and other software whose corporates are subverted, such as Tiktok, admitting to spying on their customers this really does not make playing a middling moba worth the potential intrusion risk of giving what is essentially unfettered kernel level access.

Please do not spread fud, Memory Integrity (also called hypervisor-protected code Integrity or HVCI), uses Microsoft’s Hyper-V hypervisor to virtualise the hardware running some Windows kernel-model processes, protecting them against the injection of malicious code.

However it's one designed for newer business laptops and desktops, isn't actually enabled on upgrades and fresh installs , and MS itself recommends disabling it for gaming pc's and if it causes you system issues. This game is not the only game and or application that needs it disabled. 100% won't make your PC magically more secure. If you feel that strong about it disable it when playing game re enable it after.

Memory Integrity feature prevent attackers from injecting their own malicious code and ensures that all drivers loaded onto the OS are signed and trustworthy. This is a critical security feature, and it will be enabled by default on all new Windows 11 devices. However, in some scenarios and some configurations of gaming devices, this feature may cause performance impact.

````````````````````````````````````````
Gamers who do not want to compromise on their PC’s gaming performance can now turn off the Memory Integrity and VMP features. Microsoft recommends gamers to turn off these features while gaming and turn them back on when finished playing.
`````````````````````````````````````````

From there own support page on microsoft.. Next.

Also if your pc has any overclocking utility, like Throttlestop, MSI Afterburner, Intel Extreme Tuning, this option also needs to be disabled as the memory virtualization blocks the reading and writing of the cpu voltage registers. There are many reasons why you may not want to run memory integrity enabled on machines.

"Gamers who want to prioritize performance have the option to turn off these features while gaming and turn them back on when finished playing. However, if turned off, the device may be vulnerable to threats. "

So, i don't see why i can't play with hvci-kmci, i loose little performance ? Okey, it don't sound's like requirement.

"Also if your pc has any overclocking utility, like Throttlestop, MSI Afterburner ..." .
Program who want control hardware, don't requirement for game. And why for game low level and hardware control is requirement ?

"There are many reasons" - not requirements . For me , for expamle - 0 reasons.
You can't say other games with disable hvci-kmci requirement ? Me too. I play in many multiplayer games and never see something like this

"Great , that is you , that is NOT everyone. You don't speak for everyone do you?"

Anyways TLDR, its just hardware enforcement of kernel mode driver policy. It however won't stop your system from ever getting infected. If you use common sense. You can disable it safely to play this game and re enable it after if you feel that harshly about it.

Naraka anti cheat doesn't have a signed driver hence why it needs to be disabled.

About the Multi Player games, some MP games use there own server sided anti cheat so of course you wouldn't have an issue cause the anti cheat doesn't run locally.

so its not even 100% failsafe. So once again use your best judgement. Be smart , disable when playing re enable when not. so long as you are not sailing sus websites and sailing the seas your chances are pretty low.

just wanted to say that all chinese companies must provide any and all data and access to the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) should the CCP desire it. just know, when playing any chinese games and providing any personals information to them, you have already given the CCP information about your self and access to your devices. we dont worry about this usually because most countries have law against this type of thing.

While they provide info to the Chinese government, they do not provided the CCP any user info that isn't Chinese. So unless you physically live in China. They don't hand over your info.

bruh, all you guys have to say is this is a new feature that is exclusively on windows11 and I will understand its importance and stuff, it not like I'm an IT specialist or smt
Phosphophyllite Jul 15, 2023 @ 6:52am
I Don't think you should really care about HVCI or even worry about it. lol just disable it like a normal person cuz the moment you put your personal info in Social medias like FB,Twitter,Google and others you already sold your info lol. Not to mention if you're so afraid of getting your password stolen and sh1t. That's why you should have authenticator linked to your phone or max your security for online accounts with multiple backups.

Eitherway don't worry yourself to death about this since in the end you're just going to die about 90years old and not even getting bothered by this lmao. Otherwise if it really is stealing your sh1t and being used by China to feed their AI overlords then you're not alone in it.

it being a feature of Windows 11 doesn't make it important for you, the casual end user. It's to prevent targetted attacks of enterprises, organizations and corporations. HVCI isnt going to prevent Spyware from installing itself when you clicked Yes on a UAC Prompt. It's to prevent someone from sticking a USB stick into your system that installs a virus onto your BIOS without you needing to even click a message. It's the same as freaking out about Disabling TPM 2.0 in Windows 11

If it was stealing your ♥♥♥♥ someone would have posted a Wireshark log by now but its been 2 years and half of that group will call you a shill if you dare say to install Wireshark and monitor your packets. If they wanted to spy on you they dont actually need to disable HVCI to do it because everyone thats complaining about the issue already clicked Yes to the UAC Prompt for elevated privileges. This is the reality of the "experts" who are spooked about disabling HVCI.

Also if China wanted data on you all they need to do is pay a United States based databroker $20

It's funny that people are worried about CCP spyware while there exists people who willingly give their info (including bank login details) to companies like Google, LastPass and Microsoft. And it's way easier to buy data from them (or hack them) than try to compete in data harvesting against them as a gaming company.

Although them still not having a Microsoft signed driver seems quite sus.
