Account linking?

I have previously downloaded the game's own client from the official website, and loggen in through my gmail account. I have also linked it to my twitch and received a couple drops. At the time, for whatever reason the Steam page was not updated yet and the game wasn't available to download in the free period, but since it is now I have downloaded it through steam, but I don't see any sort of option to log in to an already existing account, the game wants me to create a new one. Is it not possible to login to an external account on the Steam version?

Correct the standalone client doesn't share data with the steam version .

Hi I have some game progress on Steam version, I have collected Twitch drops on Epic Store version and I have redeemed GamePass Ultimate rewards on Microsoft Store version. How do I merge the 3 accounts into one? Every other game with crossplay lets you do this but I am having trouble finding the option on this one.

I understand there was no data sharing last year but with the relaunch of the game surely they have added this essential feature? What is the process here, do we need to contact support for the account merge to go through?
