Tarka can turn Kurumi ult into field of fire, and Tumulch can turn it into stamina sapping field, and those only effect enemies. So it is very safe for friends and very deadly for enemies.
However if the ult was overridden by a mushroom or a fire lantern the effect is global, everyone gets damaged in it.
It used to be anyone can convert kurumi's ult, including fire arrow and flame thrower from enemies or kurumi herself, this made Kurumi V1 and V2 very unreliable in trio and very deadly in solo. since kurumi that lived to final circle can ult and flame thrower under her feet. Now only friendly Tarka and Tumulch can convert it, so trio is quite useful and solo is no longer OP.
Then I'll rather use the third Ultimate.
