I found my problem and solved it

Disclaimer: I am not a professional, I am just your average person.

I am using ryzen 2000 series with gtx 1080 ti, 16gb ram and HDD. I have played the previous beta, had no issues, game loaded and played out smoothly.

If you were one of them like me, here is what I found out. I was monitoring my task manager to see which of the hardware is really struggling. I realized that my memory is pinched to the max when i was playing the game.

Here is how I fixed it. I went to Run, "advance settings", hit the advance tab, click the "settings" button under performance, hit the advance button again, under virtual memory click the change button, untick automatically manage paging file size for all drives.

After that a quick restart and the game runs so smoothly I am really happy. Never had to struggle to even pick your hero, deal with time to time lag spikes which led to fluctuating ping, and most importantly, stuck at PPT screen at 5 ~ 10 fps plus red ping and have to wait like 10 ~ 20 seconds before I can actually move every time I enter a match. What's more is that in the middle of the game when there are many people in the area the game is just unplayable, not all the time, but most of the time.

I never really share things, but I myself have been struggling to know what causes this because again, I was able to play the previous beta just fine and I was really enjoying it. I hope you can find your issue and fix it to be able to enjoy the game again. :)

just tried it and i played the smoothest game i have ever played since i installed that game <3 and i still have hiccups but makes sense since my pc is old and game isnt in final optimization yet

it will not save you from lags, worst ping and reconnection in the game, but FPS yes, it will be a little better, EU server disgusting and in this iteration became completely rotten
