Weird thing is that sometimes I can play for over an hour without a crash but sometimes its awful I still think it's something to do with unity until seen otherwise :|...
I was speaking to someone that said it's a crash with the game on reddit but they would need access to the actual source code of the game to see where the developers made the issue or whatever.
Yeah I want to play it, cause I enjoy it and bought the battle pass, but I might, MIGHT get on for 10-15 minutes and then it crashes :/
I noticed another unity type game also crashed in a similar fashion. So I wonder if there is some odd bug with unity."
Just ANNOYING it happened after I changed cards. XD
Try googling if this happens with the specific card on unity in particular.
+1, I will not continue playing until this problem is solved
Would a specific card cause unity to crash over others?
Either way. Try this.
Try doing a clean boot of windows. Only run Windows Microsoft services and try the game, see if it crashes during that. If it doesn't crash after this, then you know it's a probably a background process/software issue.

Try checking to see if there's an update for your BIOS as well.
Another thing you can do is completely uninstall your graphics driver with DDU and then reinstall and see if that fixes the problem.
You can always fully reinstall Windows and see if that fixes the problem as well (it sucks but it can work).
Maybe your anti virus is causing the game to crash? I'm not sure here. I'm just trying to give suggestions and solutions. Maybe add the game to your exceptions in your anti virus.
I think it might be a RAM issue. Do you have any spare RAM?
To find out if it’s hardware the only thing you can do is process of elimination. Such as swapping out the GPU, SSD, RAM and Motherboard. One hardware at a time.
I was experiencing a game crashing with no errors at all. It would literally crash me to desktop. Only this one game (which was PlanetSide 2). I found out later it was a either a motherboard or a RAM issue.
Yep weird the crashes still happening, tried disabling services :|
Only game crashing randomly right now everything else for days been behaving just fine.
Sometimes plays for 30 mins - 1 hr just fine other times it's no F*** you and crashes at random...

Could be a number of conflicts such as hardware maybe the keyboard I am using or corsair / Asus software for all I know but only this game still (UNITY ENGINE)
Reason for random lock-ups is unknown in event viewer.
Did you try everything I suggested? Or just the services?
Did you check to see if your BIOS has an update?
Did you try using DDU uninstaller for your GPU and then install the latest drivers?
I personally think this is a RAM issue. It would be so much easier to know if you had spare RAM.
Are you doing any overclocking?
- I tried disabling all the services that were not Microsoft, and checked startup items.
- I did a Bios Update, downloaded all the motherboard software / updates and used DDU / Reinstalled Nvidia Drivers.
- I've run 3 different RAM checkers it's not detected any issues (I have free ram, as in enough ram for the game with 32 GB total.) (I don't have extra ram to experiment with right now (I may buy some more ram if I can get 64GB or higher so I can test but that will be a few months.)
The Overclocks are the defaults of whatever XMP runs at just stock intel turbo.
I've not had random APP Crashing like Google Chrome, Photoshop, or other games I play as of recently I know back aways before I started playing Naraka I would once in awhile get a Planet Side 2 crash but it would be a strictly G12 error, rarely happened and didn't do the not responding thing like this.
I could maybe find another single-player steam game and give it a try to see if any crashes maybe just load Monster Hunter or something to see for awhile but i've not had any issues thus far.
I was thinking if it could be bad V-Ram, or something though i've not really seen any artifacts or anything but i've been using the ram since 2018 roughly.
Even though the RAM checkers aren't showing anything, it could still be possible that it's faulty RAM to some degree.
Try disabling XMP and see if the issue still persists. If it doesn't then you know it's just this game and the XMP settings/profile. Then you can adjust a better XMP profile rather than the default setting.
If you plan on upgrading to 64GB which is definitely overkill. I'd suggest just doing it now. Get that new RAM and try the game out again (with just that RAM installed) see if it does it. If it doesn't, at least you still got your upgrade. If it does, it's faulty. RAM usually has a lifetime warranty, then you can claim your warranty and replacement.
Maybe the RAM isn't faulty, but the RAM slots are? Have you tried maybe putting the RAM in different slots? Trying just one stick at a time?
I don't know why but I'm convinced this is a RAM issue, I could totally be wrong though. You are on an SSD right? What speed is the RAM running at?
Yes i'm using dual SSD, and rest are regular drives (Game's installed on a SSD).
The performance / loading times of the game is good.
When you say swap ram, do you mean like just change the sticks at random and hope for the best since I have all 4 slots filled at the moment?
Might just wait Black Friday since im just going to get 4600+ that motherboard supports I do editing too so having extra ram is always helpful.
Okay so you're using 32GB with 4 slots at 8GB per RAM. I have 32GB with just 2 slots. You should have went 16GB a piece and only put them in two slots (although people will say it doesn't matter, I prefer this setup).
When I say swap them out, since it's 4 sticks, try this configuration. Go 16GB with 2 sticks (8GB per stick). Put them in A1 and B1 and then put them in A2 and B2.
Try one set of two sticks, then try another set of two sticks (so you know which ones you tried).
Then try them single at 8GB a piece in one slot going through all 4 slots individually. It's a long process and it sucks but lol.
You don't have to try or buy anything if you don't want to. I'm just giving you ideas and suggestions. This is what I'd do to test the issue. If you think it's truly just the game and not your hardware, then well, leave it the way it is.
I'm running my 32GB of RAM at 3600MHz (16GB per stick). I do editing as well lol.
