Twitch is actually a pretty good way to tell how healthy a game in most cases. If the game is on the front page usually that indicates that it's a popular game and has an active community.
Of course that's not for all games but it's still a very good way to find out how well a game is doing. In Naraka's case, this isn't a good sign especially when the e-sports scene doesn't get very many views despite how much they try to hype it up.
It's like everything else in the world. Some people just want to watch other people do the thing.
Cybersport? It's a joke? The outcome of a battle royale depends on luck, not personal skill. You can win a duel, but after a second you die from an arrow.

15-25k players during peak time in the US. 100-160k when CN, EU, etc are awake.
You really trynna spin this narrative about the game bein' dead or dying? THE PEAK PLAYER COUNT WENT UP BY 30K!
That being said the game has serious issues that need addressing ASAP.
When the Game has only at Weekend's good Numbers from NA/EU then you know surely, something is wrong... in FFXIV as example i see atleast 40k constantly via Steam.
No, I don't think anything is wrong. The game's numbers across the board are going up. Last week around this time it had I believe 15k players, it's sitting at 17k now.
The game has good numbers literally all the time. MM in platinum during the day is only around 1-3 minutes, and at night it's usually 2-5. This is when you don't get into a game instantly, which happens pretty often. I'm not sure what point people are trying to make here - 15k for a relatively unknown studio here in the US isn't bad at all.
Again, the game still has issues, but people acting like it's dead or dying are hilarious. I mean it literally peaks above 100k daily - more then FF on steam, by the way.

Do some research before saying this sort of stuff. This is peak in the last 24 HOURS. As in YESTERDAY. The game's doing fine overall, it just needs more western support - but even then 15k isn't anything to sneer at!
I want to throw a stone at you. Is it good online in your opinion? Every time I find a match where the strength of the opponents is "less" than mine. The game could not find opponents equal in strength to me. Do you know what that means? Silver and top 100 players play on one island. A game with good online doesn't make such mistakes.
Stop talking about things that you don't understand at all.
Did I ever say the game's online is good? No, so don't put ♥♥♥♥ in my mouth.
What I SAID was the game's PLAYER COUNT is fine. These are two VERY different statements.
MM is a mess in every battle royale I've EVER played. We have CN players using VPNS to play on NA and EU servers. No, the online experience is not "great" right now. It's "Ok." But the core game, the amount of players, the ideas the game utilizes are all perfectly fine.
