I find it quite disrespectful to not simply give an answer for so long, here on Steam and on their Discord.
By now, i seriously wonder if their game engine is even capable of supporting DLSS.
Optimisation + DLSS = WIN
So it's strange that it's not available in game to pick and adjust.
Neat opinion. Enjoy waiting indefinitely for 'pure' optimization while everyone else flips the DLSS switch for instant gains. This isn't a choice between good things, it's using tools available today
Yes, flicking that switch fixes everything.
But what'd one expect from someone who advertises scam shops for a few cents lol
Having DLSS support would also get us DLAA.
And everyone who prefers not to use DLSS/DLAA could simply leave it turned off in the graphics settings. Crazy, huh?
I already mentioned monster hunter wilds as an example. Running it in 4k with dlss balanced and frame generation yields less fps than wreckfest 2 in native 4k on maximum details without frame generation. And it also looks a lot better. That's beyond ridiculous.
If there is any point to be made here is that the game already runs quite good precisely because the devs are not lazy like capcom and just "flick that switch".
Most gamers don't seem to understand the importance of optimization of the base because of new tech and evidently some devs use it as a shortcut to deliver you a mediocre product.
Yeah, no ♥♥♥♥ sherlock, that's precisely why smart people invented workaround tech like DLSS instead of praying for some magic hardware leap. It's called working smarter to overcome physical limits, not a pathetic substitute. Stop stating the obvious and pressure devs to actually implement the tools that give results now, not wait for some mythical 'raw power' future that never comes.
Wow, one cherry-picked example totally dismantles the entire tech used successfully in hundreds of titles, genius take. Guess devs messing up an implementation means everyone should just stare at low framerates forever waiting for mythical perfect optimization. Keep coping with native res slideshows. And pivoting to ad hominems about shops just screams you ran out of actual points regarding the tech discussion. Sad!
Yeah, early access clearly isn't for you if you're opposed to waiting.
The game already runs quite well actually, maybe you're having early access related issues, which you could address and others could try to help in this forum.
Maybe your specs are just on the lower side, who knows, you never bothered listing them. If you already have low framerates, frame generation isn't recommended anyway. Not to mention you're talking about crisp images but you're apparently playing in 1080p and talk about DLSS, which doesn't add up to me. But that's just my opinion.
All that aside, the devs are clearly open to suggestions, they made that much clear. But it doesn't seem like you're actually looking for help or being constructive. This is your first thread on this forum and you're just angry and insulting people.
