This is a chance for wreckers to drive an early (!) version of the game. For anybody who is expecting a fully-fledged, perfectly optimized game with several modes, dozens of tracks and vehicles, as well as an extensive career mode, please consider buying once we are releasing the 1.0 version of the game."
I played 9,179 hours of wreckfest 1.
I have been PC game since 1999, so I know the difference between EA, DEMO and a bad job in developing a game.
Really?!?
And how?
I really don't know how we went from CLASSIC games of various genres to crumbs that gamers of this generation call Early Access and still insist on applauding even when there are countless cases of games that after years are still not finished.
I understand that this generation does not have the ability to know the difference between EXPANSION and a SCAM called DLC.
Why Early Access?
“We need your support and feedback to make this the best wrecking experience it can be! Wreckfest 1 was also in Early Access and became a big success thanks to the feedback and dedication of our community, so we want to do this again!”
Just in case you missed that the first time around.
Were you not around when WF 1 was EA with 4 cars and 3 tracks? Look how it turned out
Didn't you learn anything from the first in the series?
Need to reinvent the wheel?
Hmm. I do understand your view.
Assetto Corsa Evo also released with minimal content. But that was abit more premium-priced.
Wreckfest 2 is very cheap. So clearly the Devs/Bugbear/THQ agree with your view.
Noone is forcing you to buy the Game. And all content within the Game is described.
If you compare that to Path of Exile 2. A greedy company who don't even have a roadmap. I'd say that Bugbear/THQ have been pretty honest with their consumers and presented information for their product.
So while I(and many others), can understand your statement. The pricerepresents the current state of Early Access.
You said you played WF1 for over 9k hours:
1) Thats so many hours on one game. Seriously lol
2) If you played 9k hours on one Game. You trusted the Gaming studio with that Game. So why not trust them with Wreckfest 2?
3) You know it's Early Access. And it's a journey to 1.0 release.
4) Most of Wreckfest consumers just want to help support the Devs and drop in the game from time to time as it progresses.
If you don't wanna play Wreckfest 2 right now. Come back in a few months :) No big deal. That's what Early Access is.
Have a great weekend ✅
The Devs. should have made it, though. I do agree!
Don't pay attention to the babies who dont know better than being royally-scrëawed-over. They are from a different generation where Critial Thought and Not being milked dry is far far gone.
/dr. Mabuse - 1,9 billion hours in Wrecfest 1.
I mean Steam directly says early access is not a way to crowdfund your game.
Game has to be a basic minimal viable product.
What on earth has happened to PC gamers in the last decade?
