Game immediately crashes to desktop

I launch the game and it begins to load. I get as far as the THQ NORDIC screen and just as it transitions to the main loading screen it crashes to desktop. No errors or anything.

same issue i get to loading screen get to the map loading after picking the car and it either cant load the track or it says fatal error loading then it crashes to windows home screen

Exactly the same issue, a frustrating evening running 20 different troubleshooting methods, none of which worked.

I had this issue originally with my ultra-wide monitor. I changed the resolution launch option from 7680 x 2160 to 5120 x 1440 and this solved the crash issue for me.

It's doing it on my 4090 machine I'm going to try it on my 7900xtx machine and see if it crashes. My 4090 has been crashing games a lot more since the garbage 50 series came out.

Same issue, 9800X3D/4080 Super with MSI X870 w/64GB RAM, second to latest BIOS and lastest GPU Drivers.

Same. I go to enter a quick race, it sits there loading for 10-30 seconds then immediate crash back to desktop. That's gotta be a record for the fastest crash of a new game I've ever seen.

It runs on my 7900xtx fine but crashes to desktop on my 4090 so....

Try a lower resolution. I had issues with 4k ultrawide. Works fine at 1440 ultrawide.
