Hey, I am sorry that you have ran into this issue

Have you tried verifying the game files and restarting your PC? if so please can you make a bug report via the link below so the devs can look into the issue.

Same. This is incredibly disappointing. Nothing is getting it to run. It loads menus then closes when loading a race.

Had the same issue, what fixed it for me was to allow the Wreckfest2.exe through windows 10 Ransomware protection

I tried doing this also but could not find a Wreckfest2.exe file in the install files list.

Do you have .exe files in your other steam game folders ?.

I found the solution, you have to disable the antivirus.
