DX12 alone doesnt mean higher system requirements unless its built to support only DX12_2 feature level, in that case DX11 support will be deprecated along with certain playerbase being cut off due

Processor: Core i5 6500 / Ryzen 3 3200 or equivalent with 4 cores and 3.5 GHz
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: GTX 1070 / RX5700 with 6GB VRAM (for running at lowest setting in 1080p with 30 FPS)
Storage: 15 GB available space
Additional Notes: These requirements will change during the early access phase.

Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10 or 11
Processor: Core i7 8700 / Ryzen 7 3700X or equivalent with 6 cores and 4.0 GHz
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: RTX 3070 / RX 6700 XT with 8GB VRAM (for running at Ultra setting in 1080p with 30 FPS)
Storage: 15 GB available space
Additional Notes: These requirements will change during the early access phase.

I watched a solid looking preview and it looks like the RTX4060 (3070-3090) will be the minimum requirement atm.

If the minimum is 1070 like stated I’m gunna be upset, I can run helldivers 2 at max on my 1060 there’s no reason I shouldn’t here either

Just curious here, do you feel Notepad and Adobe Photoshop should have the same system requirements? Your PC runs one fine so it should the other?

You just compared two entirely different pieces of software running on entirely different engines, coded by entirely different people, one being a shooter, the other being a game that has to make physics calculations AT SPEED.

Just a guess but i'am guessing min requirements being...
Cpu Ryzen 5 2600 (3.0) or better and 16gb ram and 2060 RTX.
