yeah.. in this type of game, dedicated server is really needed.

be able to log in without waiting for your friend (host) to online is really important.
especially if you are playing with friends that have different playtime during the weekday.

2021 - Its almost essential to have dedi option servers now, as others stated, having to "wait" for hosts to come on, etc, becomes dull.

I think they should enforce more than 4 players coop before dedicated server.

This was going to be a day one buy for me but now that I know there won't be dedicated servers at launch I'm going to pass for now. I want my friends and I to be able to jump into the same game at any time - no worrying about who has the best PC and network connection in order to determine who should host.

+1 about dedicated Server files. I am very interested,IF I cannot run a private dedicated server! I will never buy the game no matter how good it is if the devs don't give us the ability run our own servers FREE. I do not and will not ever rent a server. I own a PC not a console.

This is a must to be able to build a strong and reliable community around Breakwaters. Communities that has their own dedicated servers will make use of this in many ways.

You can though? you just run the game and people connect to it. You just need to wait for the host to come online and start playing, but it's free

You know that's not the same thing right? That's a local hosted server and not a >dedicated< server. Local hosted servers are limited in so many ways compared to a dedicated server With dedicated support and modding support this game will extend it's lifetime by xxxx times and communities will flourish as well.

i would love this feature just for the ability to jump in a world me and 2 other friends play on without having to sync up days off and someone waiting in lobby until everyone is connected. I hope this can be a possibility in the future but out side of this feature missing it is a great game keep up the good work.
