Splitting Stacks?

I might be dumb but I cannot for the life of me, figure out how to split stacks in this game. Help?

OP and I figured it out. You hold the button listed under the Control Settings as "Pickup 1 item" (LT on controller, LShift on Keyboard), and you press the "Grab" button for however many items you want to remove from the stack.

That is so poorly telegraphed, to be honest. And I remember bringing this up during the Kickstarter beta to, apparently, no avail.

Hold shift while clicking on the item to pick them up one at a time. :)

During the kickstarter, there wasnt a way to pick up 1 at a time, that was added in later. :)
Just hold shift, or on game page left trigger, and it will pick up one at a time. :)
