You can have infinite numbers of resources in this game.

it is setup to have instanced worlds with persistent characters.
simply create a new world and spawn in with the matts to make a boat or boat flares. go round pickup what you want then simply log out and back into your home world. drop your items in boxes then log back into the farm world. once done delete the farm and roll a new one.

Thought i would provide a list of Tips for people. i have found information on aspects of the game hard to find with a google. i know what to expect with EA on steam. the game is being built and will change.

Loving the game. the best water simulation hands down. great soft graphics style. and i have hearts on my health bar, so old school i love it.

1.items in the game world can be dismantled for 1-1 resources.

2.Make sure you dismantle cannons and crystal tiki torches you find with the demolition hammer. easy iron bars, wood planks and empty bottles. (does not work at new islands)

3.yellow crystal tiki cannot be picked up once placed but they can be destroyed for full resource return. save those empty bottles.

4.the turtle titan can be killed as many times as you wish. giving you thousands of yellow crystals. this makes having fun with the water physics more viable. (you can collect multiple summoning shells from farm worlds if you don't want to wait)

5.make sure you visit the hermits island after killing the turtle titan. he has a gift for you.
(the questing system is slightly janky ATM they can reset. maybe due to switching worlds)

6. once you have the hermits gift you can clear large rocks on any island for clean base building and a ready source of grey stone.

7.pirate boats, towers and green Golems can also be destroyed with the hermits gift. allowing you to save those cannon balls...
