Unable to Light Match on Boiling point

I have assembled the burner but i am trying to light the match. The controls are abit weird, i am inconsistently able to light the match (could be a positioning problem) and when I do, the lit match just goes back into the matchbox.

I struggled a bit too, you just need to open the match box and then move a single matchstick over the side of the box so it lights itself - then move it over to the burner.

I have the same problem. The match strikes, then IMMEDIATELY flies back to the matchbox as it begins to burn. Nothing I seem to do changes this.

Ive had the same issue, the solution is to not press the mouse button, just stroke the match of the box and the hold it over the burner. Hope that works for you

Hello if it can help, you have to open the valve of the burner then put it back? take a match , go back and forth on the other side of the box and then approach it to the burner.

This was annoying, don't left click after picking up the match. Just move your mouse up and down on the mouse pad aiming at the matchbox. I'm enjoying the game so far, hopefully no more annoying interactions like this one.

The click and hold action for the match did not click for me until I read this thread. Not sure how to make the action work for all situations though. I guess working with gas is tricky at the bet of times.

It only worked for me after sliding the stupid match for like 10 times, while the game gave me on indication that anything was happening. Infuriating that they left this so poorly designed. If I didn't look for help on the forums, I could get stuck for who knows how long, just because the controls.
