Very Cute game, some after Demo thoughts!
I had a lot of fun with the demo, though there are a few things I'd like to comment on as just things that would be nice if they were added/changed, but ofc its all just my opinion~

1. Player Character Gender
I'm super happy that there's no real "gender" for the PC, but the model itself seems extremely feminine, and because of this its extremely hard to make a masculine or even androgynous looking character, especially if you're a fan of playing long-haired masc characters like myself! Some different face shapes or body types would go a long way towards helping this.

2. Tutorials
There's plenty of them in quests, which is great! But some small explanations just seem to be missed out. I spent many hours avoiding the box at the end of my ranch for eg, thinking it was a "selling box" like is common on these types of games, only to figure out it was actually storage and I'd been running back to my actual house for no reason! Obviously this could just be because it's earlier in development and that's completely fine, just figured it worth a mention in case!

3. Control schemes
Small one, but the ability to change Keybinds would be wonderful, as well as playstation control prompts. I personally play with a playstation controller and xbox button prompts get extremely confusing.

4. Dinosaur limits
Honestly, I just think the finite number of Dreamstones is a real shame, as someone who likes to collect and just wants to grab all the Dinos. It makes me EXTREMELY cautious of befriending a Dino because what if one with a better, rarer colour comes along? Especially as there also doesn't seem to be a way of releasing Dinos. I ended up taming a pink Styra and then IMMEDIATELY regretted it because I found colours that I preferred right after. Same with the Gallimimus, a much nicer colour spawned the next day. It would be much more preferable to just have a max limit per ranch, and allow people to release and befriend new ones, than a finite resource that makes people cautious of even trying to befriend!

Other than those, there's just been tiny issues that I assume is just due to the game being unfinished, like awkward controls, getting stuck between scenery that was extremely easy to walk through one way but impossible to walk back through, player stamina depleting when you run is a gripe of mine but I think that's a personal preference so doesn't really belong here!

I've had a good time with the demo too though, the Dinosaurs are adorable and I love them, the characters seem fun, it's definitely a game that I can lose a good many hours to and I'm looking forwards to seeing how it shapes up between now and release!

Thanks very much, Devs!!

4. Simply remove the dreamstone belonging to the dinosaur you no longer want. I've only played the demo for a short time, so haven't actually attempted to do this, but the game makes it clear that the dinos will not stay if they are not properly cared for.

To release a dino, use the flute to get them to follow you off the ranch. Once you're out in the valley, use it again to get their attention. The lower right corner prompts should have a flute sequence to tell them to return to the wild. You may need to play it more than once (or I could just be bad at the flute).

Ahh thank you both! Then honestly that part of my critique just gets added to the "tutorial" parts instead. Just a few extra explanations in the game itself would be nice ^^

Ohhh glad I read this! I was wondering about releasing too. I regretted my color choice of Gallimimus almost immediately.

I agree with the player character comment. While I appreciate the neutrality, there seems to be a feeling of uncanny valley that I'm trying to make the PC a girl. IDK if its the lighting or what but their face looks like the shading is very weird compared to the NPCs.

to piggyback off your demo thoughts in hopes of the developers seeing, sometimes it felt like the camera was really shaky while running. im not sure if it was the ground I was not, but it was hurting my eyes.

I have to agree on the camera shaking.
I've been following this game on twitter for a while, and when I found the jittery camera it was making me very motion sick with headaches. I couldn't even get past walking into pebble town without having to put down the game.
I hope this gets fixed because I was really looking forward to this game out of all the games at demoing right now!

Summed up basically all my thoughts as well! I really think there should either be no limit to how many dinos you can keep on your ranch, or at the very least maybe a means of cataloging all dino colors and patterns without having to tame them.

More tutorials on how to manage inventory, how friendship levels work, and other things would be greatly appreciated too. I still can't figure out how to get my smaller dinos who can't wear saddles to help me out on the farm.
