Sleeping Areas?

This may be a stupid question, but I'm struggling to find how to make sleeping areas for my dinosaurs. I have the Galli and Styra but no one seems to sell the sleeping areas that Lucky's pen already came with. The only things I can buy from Marlo are the trough, fences and gates. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong it would be greatly appreciated!

You need large Dreamstones, if you upgrade one, it will look like the one Lucky came in with.
You need one for each dino.

Sorry for (semi) highjacking the thread, but I cant figure out how it works. I placed a second Dreamstone into the pen with Lucky, but I cant assign the new dino to it. Lucky complains about being lonely in his pen.

Do I need to build a separate pen for other dinos?

You need to click on the dreamstone and 'build' on the dreamstone. It'll tell you what materials it needs. You don't need separate pens for every dino, it works similar to a lot of other animal zoo games where different animals have different preferences and they'll let you know if you use your journal on them.

You need to use the flute to tell the new dino to follow you. Walk into the pen with the dino following and the flute out, and you should see a command to tell them 'You live here' or something to that effect. Use that to assign the dino to the pen.

Check to see what size Dreamstone the dino needs, small or large. Once you place one in the pen the dino will be auto assigned to it as long as it's the right size and you have enough for all your dinos. Dreamstones are found throughout the valley. Also different dino have different amounts of friends that make them happy, Lucky is a "Herd" dino so will need 2+ friends to be happiest.
Dinos will need different pens if they eat different food, are from a different area, or are a "Loner" social type.

It seems to work with dreamstone alone. But I will upgrade it once I have the mats for it.

Yeah, a plain dreamstone works fine so long as it's the right size for the dino. Upgraded dreamstones help shift a pen's biome towards a specific type, and you will know if the biome has changed, it's extremely hard to miss. Worth doing though, the dinos quite like it when the biome matches their preference, and that makes earning their trust easier.

He doesn't sell you dreamstones. That's the option to convert your upgraded dreamstones (valley sleeping patch) into the base dreamstone form so you can re-use it for different biomes. The dreamstones themselves are finite. But you do get the option from a different vendor later on to convert small stones to large and vice versa
