Necessary for baseline happiness:
-Clean any poop
-Make sure they have food
Extra happiness:
-Pet your dino
-Sing your dino it's friend song
-Take the dino out to it's home biome (for kentrosaurus this would be Dapplewood)
-Use Deluxe food rather than regular food
Kentrosauruses are notorious for long befriending times, but doing ALL of this will help speed the process up more! The goal is to get that green circle that shows up when you have the journal out in front of the dino full every day
The stego tamed fine, as did the Theri in both save files. The kentrosaurus in both save files will not transition to helper no matter how much treatment I give them.
I gave up bothering on my second save as the effort was too much compared to the other slashers sadly. Which is a shame since I love Kentrosaurus.
Edit to add - after two seasons of the kentro not taming I tamed the Stego and the stego tamed in a few days.
Thank you for the info! We have not had many reports of bugged taming times so we don't have much to go off of, but try to release and re-tame the kentros in questions using Mari. This has worked for another user before and they should be tameable within a week or two ingame! (with the green happiness circle full each day)
I do want to clarify that if your kentro ONLY has the baseline happiness (so clean pen and enough food/the right socials), it can absolutely last 2 ingame seasons without becoming helper. Ensure that you are doing everything to make it as happy as possible!
