how do i get a sleeping patch/dreamstones

im trying to buy a stupid dreamstone from the guy in town and it says i need a sleeping patch in order to buy it. I dont even know how to get dreamstones naturally and its making me really angry. they dont do ♥♥♥♥ to explain anything and im really frustrated

What you're seeing is Marlo "selling" dreamstones - he doesn't actually sell them! He only removes biomes from pre-existing dreamstones. so they go back to being biomeless. You have to FIND dreamstones out in the wild, or earn them through friendship with the townsfolk!

There's a map online if it's frustrating to the point of not being fun. Once you unlock the Ariacotta Canyon area, there are several more, and the various areas of your ranch will have some too. Like Dragonkin56 said, the option with Marlo...well, it seems kinda pointless unless you need to change the biome.

It's really not that deep... And is really nothing to get angry about.

Dream stones are found either next to or near dinosaurs in the wild and there is a specific number to Find. Look around and you'll find them.

As another person said, Marlow doesn't sell them, he removes biomes from them.

Freya can "convert" large to small and vise versa. At least I think that is what she is doing. With the limited number of dreamstones available, I don't want to risk losing one. I thought at first she could cut a large one and I would get 2-3 smaller dreamstones, which I really need. After looking at what she was offering a bit more carefully, I think she is just converting them.

She does indeed just convert them from large-small or vice versa :)

This would be an almost perfect game, if not for the deliberate shortage of dreamstones. So frustrating. All this room on the ranch and no use for half of it because once you've found all the dreamstones, that's it.
