unable to find mari's hat in the plaza anywhere

I have looked through all of the threads I've been able to find on this topic, and still cannot find this hat.

Does anyone know if there's some kind of map available online which marks all possible lost item locations in pebble plaza?

All I can recommend is check all bushes and even under the quest board sign. To my knowledge, those are the spots the items will spawn.

Also check the saddle and stuff hanging to the right of the entrance. I found Marlo's hat there once.

I've looked around the plaza at least four times by now, all bushes and all the spots (including those two) I've seen in other threads. I still haven't found it. I give up on finding it, chances are I'll find it accidentally one day in a really obvious place

These quest are poorly design.

The spawn location in the plaza. 1. at the post board. 2. next to saddle near mario. 3. Near mario to the left of him. 4. Near pippin by the tree.
