Cant move at all after getting load message

Is anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?
When I click continue I get a message that says "Save Data Too New" "You're trying to load save data from a newer version of the game (1.2.15). Some features may not work as expected and progress may be lost. Are you sure you want to load it?"

If I click yes then the game loads but I cant move at all. I can still access my inventory and stuff like that but i cant move the player character.

Details from before error
I played for quite a while yesterday. Before closing the game I saved and selected quit after saving. It was towards the end of a day and I believe it was nighttime. I was not doing any big tasks or anything - just cleaning up my farm.

On the splash screen where you get this error, in the top right, does it have a different version number? (For instance v1.2.11)
If so, I'm getting the same problem. I've verified the game files, uninstalled/reinstalled the game, and opened directly from Steam rather than from my desktop shortcut, but it's still opening as v1.2.11 and giving me the "save data too new" error.

Thirded, I opened the game and am getting the same message when attempting to load the most recent save (from 10/28, oof). My version is also v1.2.11. Not sure if I should just commence playing this save but chances are the bugs mentioned in another thread are gonna happen, among other things.

They had to do a roll back to a previous build of the game to prevent people from losing their save data. The save files you're accessing were saved when you were playing the update prior to the roll back (so a newer build of the game). You can regain the ability to move by playing with some things in your inventory, at least that's how I was able to move again, but I wouldn't recommend playing this save file because you'll probably experience some strange bugs and I'm not sure what the effects will be.

For example when I opened the journal to look at the dinosaur information page it was badly glitched out and not providing correct images or information. I would recommend not playing those save files if you can avoid it, just in case something strange happens. If you can start a new save game to play while a fix comes out, or play one of your older save files that has compatibility with the build that is currently being used.

yeah i was just getting the same error, before i loaded up the game i hit okay and none of the pen designs were popping up, but with that explanation i feel a bit better and ill wait as well to get the fix out!!
