How to Unlock Pies??

I have two quests that require me to make pies (Easy as Pie -- Bake Mari an Apple Pie; and Cheer Owynn Up -- Bake a Lemon Meringue Pie) BUT at the cooking pot, there is no tab for pie?? Only Soup, Cake, Jam, Pancake, and Rice..

How do I make pies!!! Pls help :'(

I believe you have to bake/get at least one pie for the pie section to unlock. You get a free pie on your budding day in-game from Freya and then you can experiment and make more pies, which is how I did it. And if you want the recipes for said pies once you can experiment:

The pie recipes for what you need are:

Apple Pie
Base Ingredients: 5 Wood, 1 Fiber, 3 Flour
Flourishes/Experiment: 10 Apples

Lemon Meringue Pie
Base Ingredients: 5 Wood, 1 Fiber, 3 Flour
Flourishes/Experiment: 10 Lemons

You get a lemon tree seed and apple tree seed from doing quests. I have the apple tree but not the lemon tree yet, so Owynn's quest will probably have to wait unless you're doing a ton of task board quests to raise friendship with everybody faster until they give you a lemon seed-

To add to this, you can sometimes buy lemons and apples from the fruit vendor in Ariacotta (or Corlan in Pebble Plaza iirc). There are also apple trees in Dapplewood forest in Cretumnus.

Honestly I don’t remember where I unlocked my pie tab. I’m using a demo save and might’ve gotten it there when I had no idea what anything meant. It could be that an NPC needs to give you at least 1 recipe in that tab to unlock it.
