Anky's can be found by exiting your farm and taking an immediate right - hug the wall and you'll see a stone to break with a brownish biome behind it, as you go through there, the Anky's are just on the left side. (take's literal seconds to get there from home)
If you need clearer instructions or can't find them for some reason, just let me know and i'll post some pics or i can add you on discord.
Once you enter the valley, head toward Owynn's house but just before you get to his house, take a right past the windmill hill into the wide field. To your left is Corythosaurus, and to your right is Postosuchus. Turn right and head past the Postosuchus, you need a rock breaker to break the boulders next to the Postosuchus. See the patch of thick bushes to the left of Postosuchus past the trees? Two Ankylosaurus hang out in those bushes. It can actually be quite hard to see them, the bushes are big and they like to hide inside or behind them, so it might be easy to miss that they're there if you only took a passing glance and they were out of sight.
As for the Corys, go to Owen's, pass the rock wall, stay to the left, you should eventually hit them and a different section to open up to Pachycephalosaurus
Anky is also only in Dapplewood during certain seasons (Triassea I believe)
PS Apologies for delay in responding, I didn't get a notification last time I was online in Steam.
Also, marked peajay64 as answer since my previous info was closest to that - but it dates from before the game became available to buy, so it's obviously not accurate anymore. (No rocks then.)
Yeah, in the demo, Wuerhosaurus and Ankylosaurus are more accessible (it’s how I got a Slasher and a Stomper early and accessed certain things before the game ‘expected’ me to). In the full game they moved both of them behind breakable objects with the intent for you to tame stuff in this order: Styracosaurus to break the rocks blocking Anky, and Anky to break the log blocking Wuerhosaurus. Hehe demo save with Anky and Wuerho already tamed go brrrr
Good luck with your save game though! :D
