For forest biome specifically, in the various blocked areas of the ranch, there are hidden decorations in the rubble. Specifically a mushroom planter box and a mushroom lantern are hidden on the log side (I think). Both of these count as forest decorations. Desert decorations are rather expensive once you get to that point, so just know that there are three desert planters hidden in the bushes section.
Basically, the best strategy to convert a biome is to make an upgraded dreamstone and then add a biome appropriate decoration. It will work every time. If you have multiple dinosaurs, making two upgraded dreamstones is also enough
Ohh, I thought all the mushroom stuff was Valley since any upgrades I ever got were to Valley Biome's. I'll try mushrooms, thank you!
I think just learning that dreamstones can be upgraded into more then just the valley type helps a lot!
You can bring the converted dreamstone to Marlo and he’ll turn it back into a normal dreamstone. Then just upgrade it again into a different biome. That’s how you change it to another biome.
