Biome Explanation
Hello,
Can I get an explanation as to which items trigger which biomes and what combination of them do I need? I Keep trying to make a Forest Biome and I'm just not creating it and i'm confused what else I'm missing.

Hello there! You can upgrade your dreamstones to Forest Sleeping Patches and each of those counts as a point towards forest biome. When you're in the upgrade menu, there should be a little arrow either side of where it says Large/Small Valley Sleeping Patch and you can cycle through different biomes. Other than that, Corlan sometimes sells Forest biome decorations! :)
The Mushroom decorations Marlo sells also counts as Forest Biome items.

You need to custom order these items. They will require Forest Wood and Mushrooms to make.

You need 3 ‘biome points’ to convert a biome. Upgraded dreamstones count as 2, decorations count as 1. A multi-dino pen will easily convert if you upgrade two dreamstones since that equals 4 points, anything after you convert a biome is just extra points.

For forest biome specifically, in the various blocked areas of the ranch, there are hidden decorations in the rubble. Specifically a mushroom planter box and a mushroom lantern are hidden on the log side (I think). Both of these count as forest decorations. Desert decorations are rather expensive once you get to that point, so just know that there are three desert planters hidden in the bushes section.

Basically, the best strategy to convert a biome is to make an upgraded dreamstone and then add a biome appropriate decoration. It will work every time. If you have multiple dinosaurs, making two upgraded dreamstones is also enough

Ohh, I thought all the mushroom stuff was Valley since any upgrades I ever got were to Valley Biome's. I'll try mushrooms, thank you!

Ooh ok, needing just three seems pretty easy to accomplish! Thank you!
I think just learning that dreamstones can be upgraded into more then just the valley type helps a lot!

I eh improved the dreamstone to valley biome if I know that you can change to other biomes, I approach but no longer let me change biome, just take out and put.

You can bring the converted dreamstone to Marlo and he’ll turn it back into a normal dreamstone. Then just upgrade it again into a different biome. That’s how you change it to another biome.
