Tip: Replenishing your Wood and Stone resources via Debris
When you start off with your farm, three areas/zones are closed off initially. The one in east requires a slasher ("fibre bushes") dino to clear, the one in the south requires a smasher ("stone"), and the one in the west a stomper ("wood" from hollow tree trunks). And then there is Debris (wood, fibre, stone) that a clearer like Lucky lets you collect. Now all this is probably, quite clear to everyone...

But I have seen very very elaborate farms that make use of most of the farm zone, penning-in huge areas for a dino collection. This has one down-side that might not be as obvious:

Debris respawns randomly after some time on your farm, but only in non-penned-in (open) areas!

Annoyingly, you will often find it on your paths. So if you want more resources to collect, maybe try to *not* needlessly pen-off areas like gardens via fences, if you want a steady stream of Debris, i.e. resources to respawn.

I noted this, because I do not use most of the outer farm zones (east, west, south) on my farm. I stick to the central area, with only a minimum amount of pens for dinos. And my outer zones, even after clearing them, become more and more junked up with Debris, if you neglect such areas.

The downside of this is that debris is a terrible source of materials. I'd much rather paths blocked it spawning. It's constantly in the way.

I honestly think that if they made the logs and boulders respawn on the farm every now and then. It would be really nice if like you left a smaller boulder or log for awhile it would turn into a bigger boulder/log after a few days for more resources. I feel like the devs made the game to be, you collect everything in the beginning, and that's what you have for the rest of the game...It's just a little upsetting when I've been trying to complete quests for like two whole in-game years... :/

This is understandable! I've recently sent in a suggestion to the team to look at rebalancing the wood spawns, as I have heard this before. As much as we encourage players to be exploring to find resources, we don't want it to be upsetting and incredibly hard to fulfill quests.

Instead of the debris respawning on the farm, wouldn't it work better to have a place out in the field where resources spawn - like a riverbank where driftwood and rocks gather, or have a fixed resource node like a quarry?
