How long is the demo?
Been playing around with the demo struggling to figure out how to make dinos trust me enough and such. Once I finally figured it out and got my Sty's near trusting enough to let me ride the next time I slept I get told that's the end of the demo and cant continue that game. Looking at my save it says 14 days so is that the max time you can play the demo? Unless I was just being super inefficient in my playtime I feel like that wasn't enough time to experience what we have atm.

The demo ends on two conditions:

1) You remove the boulder that leads to the next area (you can still reload and continue playing from your last save though.)

2) 14 in-game days have passed. On day 15 in the morning the demo will show the demo -end screen.

So yeah 14 days is the maximum time. I suggest you start a new game and try again. You wont believe how much you can get done in that time once you figure out how to befriend the dinos.

Ah okay thanks, guess ill have to try and optimize what I was doing. Struggled a lot with money for pens. But turns out you can put diff dinos in the same pen. Also had no idea how to change the pen biome and stuff until afterwards. Cant wait to try again.

Any idea what dino can break logs?

The Ankylosaurus is the one who will break logs for you :)
You should also try to get a Wuerhosaurus as soon as possible, they are the ones that cut bushes (they need really big pens though).

If you are low on cash - try to get some easy missions from the board that reward you with melons (or pumpkins). Those can be sold for a lot of shells.
