Lost talisman request

Picked a request to find a lost talisman from the quest board.
Been running around the town and the outskirts of it for several in game hours without finding that thing :/

Anybody got some hints for me where to look? Or what exactly I am looking for?

The one I got for Marlo said he lost his hat in Pebble Town. If that's the same one you got, walk around town and look for that white dot you can interact with. There will be no markings or sparkles or anything where it's hidden. You just gotta run around until you find the white dot and your avatar will dig into the ground and find it.

Otherwise, check your journal. I had another where someone lost something, but you had to talk to villagers to have them tell you where it is.
