what
So not an RTS really, its missing many key parts of the grene. But also i didnt get the feel of the TD game.
Its pretty much you have a mission with "X" number of troops and "Y" turrets, good luck!
A Tactical Strategy game, as this Starship Troopers was announced to be, is a game where you get limited units and resources and you need to make the best of what you've got available to complete the mission, while there are special events and challenges that take place. You usually control your units very directly or at the very least dictate what their behavior is going to be like.
I understand the confusion between a typical base-building RTS and Tactical Strategy, I do not understand the confusion between a Tower Defense and a Tactical Strategy, they are completely different.
Search for Bloons Tower Defense or Gemcraft. Those are Tower Defense games.
Search for Starship Troopers: Terran Ascendancy or Commandos. That's Tactical Strategy.
They are quite different.
And a Co Op Mode will be really nice - so we can burn Bugs with a Friend :D
They already said no base building or resource management. It's not going to be like those games unfortunately.
