Battle of Klendathu 'bug'
So i found out something 'funny' about the Battle of Klendathu... specifically the last segment where you form a battle line with the main army and attempt to push onto the bugs, but t he bugs begin pushing back with endless numbers and specifically Tanker Bugs.

You are supposed to retreat 'alive' but obviously as i know from my first run of the mission, that even if i make it back the ships leave me behind for dead anyway, so i figure "i might as well go down killing as many bugs as possible'

since i cant control the green units, i can't pull them back to a narrower choke point to lure them into a death zone, instead of going left i headed down, specifically to those 2 rifle troopers that escort the rocket troopers with you, since they're on the high ground and there's only 1 way up to them, a narrow slope.

decided to make 'that' my last stand, the tanker bug follows me and i'm like well 'fk' and i start microing my units and see it hit the green units instead, i was about to write off them boys/girls as dead but... they didn't die, tanker bug kept on launching its acid flame gunk and they just shrugged it off like bosses.

so i figured it was a glitch, and use them to kill the tanker, then the hoard arrives, while some are 'still' trying to kill the retreating green units and overwhelming the drop zone, my small corner of the field is holding off ENDLESS bug swarms, with 2 unkillable rifle units. the bug warriors sliced, diced, charged, over and over in endless waves but 'still' those 2 rifle units could not die apparently.

i eventually aid fk it and told my men to throw themselves into the meat grinder just to end the mission, but it was very funny... makes me wonder if i waited long enough would the bug waves eventually have ended due to sheer 'you should have lost by time time gtfo' mechanics that i don't know exist or not...

I used console commands to spawn in a bunch of power troopers and pushed all the way towards the bug hive to clear it, just to see what would happen. Well… the game eventually turns off the bug hive so that you can't even enter it after it's cleared – but I learned that the large hordes don't even come out of the hive. A huge bunch of them just burst out of the ground every minute or so, and yeah, you can just sit there killing them until you get bored and just quit.

But it was still a fun little experiment, if only to see what was out there.
