For the devs: Video of my problem with videos freezing and skipping
I posted about the videos freezing and wanted to post a link to a video I recorded of some gameplay. Below is the link and skip to 2:45 to see the problem.

At the end of my video here, what I meant was that the game becomes unplayable due to all of those videos freezing and skipping like they do.

Played through 4 times and haven't once had even any stuttering let alone freezing and skipping.

What are your PC specs?

I'm wondering if it's a problem specific to certain setups? I have 2 monitors, but just on the one monitor, I was running 4 of the same video in VLC and a video in media player, no skips, no hangups or anything for me. CPU usage was anywhere from 1% to 8% with all of that running. I could have run more videos on the 2nd monitor but I know I wouldn't have any problem with doing it.

Honestly I think in the game, for me, when multiple videos are running, all the videos skip and freeze up. I've seen a couple of other people post with the same problem as well, so hopefully they can figure it out.

For some reason the GTX 970 specifically seems to be causing problems... We think its something to do with the way that it assigns video memory...

In other words I won't be able to get the game. I can't afford a new GPU. I've got wayyyy too many other priorities I have to take care of, before I can even dream of getting some kind of upgrade for the computer. The other problem is, even if I could upgrade the GPU, I would more than likely have to get a new PSU as well, as most newer GPU's power requirements are just getting insane.

Looks like a fun game, shame I won't be able to enjoy it.

I have a GTX 1060 3Gb and i have the same problem, and even with the full version of the game. A really shame...

Maybe is a codec problem?

GTX 980 here w/ amd fx-8370, also win 7, definitely thinking win 7 might be the problem, same video freezing and skipping, but im also seeing it in the game in general once the broadcast starts (the biggest difference and most obvious tell being the overhead clock seizing)

YES! When I played Not For Broadcast: Prologue, I noticed the overhead clock intermittently freezing as well, but my issue was 98% video freezing and skipping and audio out of sync.

I have a Radeon RX 570 and Windows 7 and I have the clock and videos constantly freezign out, the prologue is unplayable :(

The developers have patched the full game for Windows 7 and it worked perfectly for me. I too had problems with the prologue so I gave up on that until the full version was fixed. So you have to go to the store page for the game titled: Not For Broadcast. Prologue was just a demo.
