I have tried, after 1500 i only managed to give one hit before i unable to dodge the attacks. The 1700 achievement challenge is indeed the hardest challenge ingame...
My suggestion is that first you should make sure that you don't lose before 1600 points so you won't be so nervous when challenging the 1700 scores. And to win when it gets too difficult, you should try to memorize the button order when it is your turn to attack. Don't even think of succeed at your first few attempts. The key is really just to memorize the order and after you do, finish the moves without having to look at your screen. Hope this helps.
