How do I make White ichigos level go passed 60?

New to the game just started yesterday and I got this cool white ichigo. I noticed I could get some characters up to 150 but him and few others dont go past a certain level. Is this just it or is there something you can do to increase his level or is there maybe better versions of that character to unlock?

so.... is the game dead or did I just ask a dumb question? I'll note again that I am new to the game. I know nothing of it.

ok how many stars does the character have? if they have 5 stars you can get them to lvl 100 and evolve them, to do so you need to augment them to augmentation lvl 4(you basically sacrifice unused characters to be absorbed into the one you want to lvl) its best to use event quest of kon to get alot of 4 star kons.

if they are 4 star or below or bought from the coin shop you cannot the rarity any higher

afterwards you need to make sure there soul tree is max, if you dont have enough matierls go do quests. once you have augmentation lvl4(it will say +4 on the top right of your character) and max soul tree you can then lvl them to 100 if they were a 5 star.

evolve the character into a 6 star and repeat the proccess, this time you will go to 150 and transend the character, soul tree stuff gets added that you need to unlock to get to lvl 200

a good place to get exp is kons power up party in limited time quests, make sure have the character you want to lvl on the team as you play so they can get the exp, you can also use gold coins for 4x exp, when doing the quests instead of one ticket at a time do a set boost of 10 that way its as if you did the quest 10 times n get all the rewards so its quicker

the games not dead it has alot of players its just you cant really communicate easily ingame unless you join a guild to talk to members( the main general chat has a bot that spams fake orb links)

when you are new it can be overwhelming with all the different currencies materies and whatnot, that you dont know what does what. but over time it clicks in easily and you will get used to it just get more play experience.

also on top of what i said earlier....some characters can be "ressurected" once they reach 6 star lvl 200 augmentation +4. it basically is a way for the creators to get older characters and give them a second chance to catch up with the new to make em stronger. the stars will turn red from gold.

Everything you noted I caught on pretty quick. I understood what all the currencies did and what they were for and where to get materials to max out characters and stuff. The only thing I was confused about why some characters couldnt get to level 200 like others I have.

The white ichigo I had has 3 stars. So now that I know only 5 star characters and above are the only ones that can get to that level my confusions are over. Tried googling also but no answers came up.

Also yea I noticed that about the bot in chat. I would have assumed something like that is not allowed by the devs. It really ruins player interaction. Makes the game look bad if they allow that.

yeah its a pain, they have banned it before it keeps coming back.

so yeah as you know the whole goal of the game is to get spirit orbs so you can pull on character banners, you can get spirit orbs from every single character you get wether they are 1 star or 6, but after a characters orbs are collected you cannot get any more from any duplicates of the character, youll know if you have gotten the orbs as the character will have a gold medal on the portrait.

when you get brave character souls tickets try to use 10 at a time as you get a chance a higher getting a 5 star through. this will not work for premium summon ticket only brave summons.

when you pull on a banner or through brave summon tickets normal blue light means you got a 3 star or below, gold light is 4 star, rainbow light is 5 star. butterly number means nothing

its always best to go for the x10 even on banners because you get a chance to get a movie to play(this only happens in x10 summons)

if orihime rejects you got atleast 1 garuanteed 5 star, if you see tsukishima with the having doubts about your past you got atleast 2 garaunteed 5 stars in the pull.
if you get aizen talking about you being under his illusion you got atleast 3 gauranteed 5 stars in that one pull. it garantees you get that amount but you might get more for example orihime might reject ensuring 1 5 star, but you can still pull more if you are really lucky.

That first tip is great I didnt know you could get orbs like that. I thought it was something from the daily challenges, like get a character to this level and that. Gonna be maxing each character once now then.


The only other thing I'm still confused a bit about but I think I might know what it is. The no affiliation and killer tab before you start a mission.

I'm noticing that some cards have something like arrancar or captain under their card where it says killer. I'm guessing if you switch the tab to killer your character does extra damage to that type of enemy and no affiliation means neutral damage?

no its not like that, and yes im with you there i had trouble with that at first too.

ok so killer basically means that, the character is good at killing that type of enemy.

neutral is a rank/race of character

so if you got say bankai ichigo who is a soul reaper and hes hollow/arrancar killer then it means hes good at killing hollow and arrancar. but lets say you are fighting an enemy that has soul reaper killer then ichigo could be in trouble as the killer effect just means you do more damage to the race or rank of enemy.

switching the tab does nothing. your character is from a certian..race or rank by default. for example you can be a soul reaper character who is good at killing soul reapers, or a soul reaper/captain hybrid thats good at killing quincy, to everything inbetween.

i hope im explaining it ok cuz its a bit hard to explain.

but what you should learn about is attributes(it works like pokemon in a sense where one color beats another and so forth rock paper scissors style.

so if you come across a quest that says soul reaper damage x2 heart attribute damage x2, then chose a soul reaper with the heart attribute, it shows who your enemy is on the bottom right aswell so if you were fighting quincy for example you would want a heart attribute soul reaper with quincy killer for maximum damage.

the best places to get spirit orbs when not lvling chars is story mode normal and hard both give orbs per completetion as well as sub stories/side stories. they can also give you characters that you can then lvl for more orbs, but once you are done with all of the story thats it for those orbs, so i would only grind orbs from story mode when you really want to pull from certain character banners

Alright those are all great tips. Tried to watch some youtube videos but most youtubers overwhelmed me with so much info all in one. Now that I have a better understanding of things thanks to you, I might give those youtube vids another watch.

Also now it makes sense why my Unohana was dealing so much more damage to some enemies than my Zaraki that had higher attack than her. It was their attributes.

This type of games takes sometime to get used to. and then you will see they all share similar level-up mechanics.

As long as it is not "buy" and "delete" buttons, try all buttons on the screen :) and see for yourself what happens.

And just be careful when you are selecting characters/items as you might be on a merge screen and clicking OK buttons may result in character loss. Why? because some level-up mechanisms need you merge many into one. Fortunately there is "lock" function for those you want to save ;)
