after removing the special move source as the final point rewards for events have they put in some other way to get them or just completely removed them from being obtainable?

Usually we get 1 every few months.

thx, was worried about that, didnt get enough time on a summon event and only need 1 more copy of a VERY hard to find character

Seems we get them every 3 months.
July Anniversary Point Event had Red
Oct was Blue,
January was Green
April was Yellow

Next up should be a purple. For 3 of the past 4, they were on the 1st of the month - except the first one, the Anniversary one, which if it holds the same this year, won't be until the 23rd of July.

So that's the best I can give you. Anywhere between July 1 and July 23 the next source rewarding event should be starting. If you need any other colour I would add +3 months as per the above rotation (unless they change it in the future).

The other method that I know, which is not mentioned here, is to sync your BBS PC game with your phone and do the passport thingy. That way ya can get the Move Sources faster.
