But yeah, it's a monthly thing. There are Normal and Hard difficulties and you can do one tower (there are multiple) in each difficulty, but ONLY one for each. So you'll have to choose carefully.
As for why I find it fun, it's unlimited (so I can try and fail as many times as I want to play) and it's challenging as I don't have that many units so I often have to cover up with ones that aren't ideal for the task. And thinking which of my limited characters to assign to which level is somewhat fun, too. Both motivate me to make certain characters stronger in order to pass some levels and these quests are pretty much the only ones where I try out various units I haven't tried before despite them being in my inventory.
Maybe both of these are taken out for you as you might have everything you need for it to feel like just a task to go through for resources?
About if its fun or not for me alteast is not, the game kinda forces you to have certain characters that are, sometimes, complete unplayable garbage. Normal senkaimon is ok but extreme is just straight bs, you pretty much need the "perfect" character and havin him link sloted and transcended, also doin boss rush with characters that doesnt have either status or any kind of vortex is gonna cost you a lot of resets due to the instakills, trully good designs,
The current last 10 levels of the anniversary senkaimon are also some kind joke, i think one of em asks you to use tsukishima on a boss rush lol.
Level 40 of anniversary Senkaimon had only Edrad as the choice, which I luckily just got a few weeks ago. Level 48 was the biggest challenge, as it's espada affiliation only where espadas are pretty rare, and then the rest of the conditions only fit a single Nnoitora character. Since I didn't have him, I've had to invest a lot into a different espada character and play really well to win in 02:57 after a few tries. And then there was level 22 which was also tough for me because I have 0 squad zero characters. Luckily, the newest Aizen is just insanely strong. I didn't notice anything requiring Tsukishima, though.
In general, I notice that my main problem is that I don't have non-soul reaper characters, and it'd be nice if they were being offered and made a little more often.
Of course, there's also that some mostly older characters are completely useless and can't even count as existing.
As for the extreme Senkaimons, so far, in two attempts, I've not managed to get to level 10, let alone level 25. It does require very strong characters.
About the tsukishima floor is the 34, a boss rush. if i remember correctly i used the new aizen who completly obliterated every boss without any problems.
