Nope. They said they're "open to exploring it in the future" which is the vaguest crap ever.
Did you just try to compare an action focused bank robbing game that's being supported by over 200 developers to a tiny kickstarter project with dinosaurs?
Action shooters are and have been mainstream for ages. Sneaky sneaky + dinosaurs are not.
True, not all games. But when you have something that's so co-op focused like this with a Humans Vs X genre, it's basically meant for it.
On the other side games like Alien Isolation show that multiplayer isn't required at all to keep the player thrilled. Let's see how the game will progress and if the devs will listen to their communities feedback.
No? ♥♥♥♥ off.
There's an entire catalog of co-op PvE games that survive to this day, and new entries regularly come out. Even Left 4 Dead, a grandfather of these games, is still regularly played in singleplayer- largely because only sweaty nerds play the PvP mode.
bruh read a little wont you?
“We want to develop Deathground with our community for the long-haul. We want to grow the game over time, adding more features, content and game modes as we go.
These could include:
New types of deadly dinosaurs that push the game's systems into different directions
New player abilities and character classes
New maps and zones
Ranked multiplayer seasons
Different game-modes that move the base survival horror formula off-axis and could include more PvP aspects”
No thanks, I would prefer at least a few games to feel different from the same tired PVP shooters were currently drowning in. Hats off to any developers willing to try something new rather than listening to OP lol
