So first battle ATTACK (sudden attack)
+25 total attack
+12 Stregnth from 400mm
+23 total defense
6 lethal damage and 0 non lethal
So that would be 37 ATTACK and 23 Defense (difference of 12)
Why 6 lethal damage? 12/2 = 6??
I am looking for these types of examples to understand what is happening.
However in the info screen of ship TOTAL HP = 44/59 and HULL HP = 22/25
I am not understanding where damage is occurring of 11 LETHAL.
Also why all is lethal and nothing non lethal
This damage than divided into Lethal and Non-Lethal, usually with 80/20% ratio. Some units like Artillery or Strategic bombers deal 20/80%.
Keep in mind that Ships always receive only Lethal damage, which than distributes into different Ship Parts (Hull, Engine, Gun, etc.). Numbers you see below unit is their current Strength, or in case of Ships - their current Hull Strength.
