Is this game still alive?

I'm considering getting this game but I want to know if mutliplayer is still active regularly

Low amount of players. Usually one server with people and it's like 10 people. But you can download mod named Darkest Hour: Europe '44-'45 that is played more than the base game as far as I know. You need to have Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 obviously. I found Darkest Hour more enjoyable. There is also another mod called Mare Nostrum, but it's dead, only some events occur i think. Also Darkest Hour still receive updates.

Darkest Hour is even deader and with no bots. If no one is online, you cannot play.

darkest hour has people on in the 29th id server, i dont see that many left on the base game a couple of servers got like 20 or so people

Just got this game as a gift, thought about checking it out, I also got Darkest Hour mod, I guess I will try that one soon.

Bloodbath will periodically be hosting throwback thursday events for RO1 soon. Only 64 slot in NA. If the events do well they'll rotate between the mods of DH, MN, and CC.

Should I download it from ModDB? Also are there planned some events for Rising Storm Singapore and Aufmarsch? I assume You don't do events on IOM right?

Khalkhin Gol is really nothing more than someone having changed the spawns of Germans to Japanese on Spartanovka. It made for a good April Fool's joke when we ran it.

Pacific Armor is still in the works. I'm sure if you wanted to know more about its progress you can hop on our Discord to chat with Beskar, as he's working to implement armor on his new RS map, Makin.

Aufmarsch nights are bi-monthly, every other Thursday.

We would do IOM events if the sole modder left behind IOM (mostly just a caretaker now) wasn't so stubborn about making the mod more accessible to the public. Otherwise, we'd promote the hell out of it.
