Greedy Strike not working as expected?

I had +10000% dmg in buffs and used greedy strike, it hit for about ~7500 damage so I expected to get 25% of this dmg as wealth, but it doesn't look like I got anything extra when the fight was over? Is this a bug or am I reading the card wrong?

I think it has an in built cap to prevent exact situations like this from ruining some of the long-term replay value. I haven't done the math though to see what exactly the rate it kicks out is.

The science tells me it maxes out @ 20 gold.

Entered combat w/ 1133 gold
Enemies Dropped 72 Gold
I hit w/ greedy strike for 6812 damage

I left combat w/ 1225 gold

1225 - (1133 + 72) = 20

This is extremely disappointing. I guess I'm never taking it again, like how I never take Wrath.

Greedy strike is capped at the remaining hp of the enemy :D

Thank you. Now I am using it as Pathfinder and swim in wealth. Just pick the highest hp enemy and prepare it for a Greedy Strike onehit, and/or duplicate it.
