I don't get this game
The first boss has 1000 hp

I have 120 hp

How am I EVER supposed to beat even 1 BOSS?

With the right cards :) and by knowing his behaviour. You can use stuns to reduce his armor, which will increase your damage against him. Just need to be careful and manage his minions so you dont get overwhelmed by them. You need some well placed blocks, a few ways to stun and mainly focus on his minions, especially those on his left, so you can specifically block his attacks

If you mean the one from the tutorial, you don't have to beat him.

Make sure you find as many villagers as possible in each run and try out the other classes once you unlock them. That's how I did it. The order you do each fight is also important. And always kill the treasure guardian for more goodies.

Treasure guardians tend to be the hardest encounters in the areas, so it might not be a great idea to go for them EVERY time. Many of them require a deck thats able to specifically handle them, and if you just didnt get the right cards, it might be better to beat the boss before tackling them, or just skipping them altogether

I actually found some of the regular fights tougher than the treasure guardians, maybe even tougher than the bosses. But maybe like you said I ( unintentionally ) have a build that focuses on them. But I think that once you figure out their patterns, the treasure guardians are easy. For example the rats have low armor so I focus on taking down the big one asap. The dude with the 2 ethereal slaves took me a while to figure out, but eventually I noticed that you gotta kill each slave once per round so they can attack him.

as with everything in this game, treasure matchups depend on the class you are playing and your build. Just having a different class / skill can make an impossible fight into an easy fight. Just think about the Rats or the large evil lifeforces. If you have attack all or many small hits, these fight go from very hard to very easy. And that largely depend in your class tbh.
Just play it. You will figure it out. Its rather addictive when you figure how each character plays

It's not as difficult as it seems at first. The game rewards you for every playthrough, even if it ends in failure. You'll unlock more passives and cards and new classes as well. You'll get more characters and gameplay functionality for the village. And you'll get better as well of course.

That's some solid advice. I did the mistake of just closing the game when I was about to lose when I first started out. Big mistake.

Its not really unfair. This game, and others like it, heavily rely on game knowledge. The more you know about the game, the easier it becomes, because you can make the right decisions.
Actually, this is one of the more forgiving games of the genre - people that are used to, say, slay the spire probably wont have much of an issue beating this.
Its definitely not an easy game per se, but once you get the hang of it, you can definitely make good progress in the game.
But sure, if it isnt enjoyable to you, there is no point in forcing yourself to play it

That's because the starter melee class is garbage I Summoner, Sentinel, Blood Mage, and Zealot are all better.

Maybe in the start yes, but once you unlock some villagers you can do a decent run with the proper special cards.

Well funnily enough its a matter of preference. I for one think wyrdhunter is the easiest one to play. Fast and scales like crazy. And you can definitely win the very first run with him, if his playstyle suits you and you have a basic grasp of whats going on.
But gee i just cant be bothered to play any of the moonring classes, fights just take forever 😬

And if you look at it in terms of average damage output, wyrdhunter is also definitely the strongest by far - at least if you look at leaderboards.
