Report a translation problem
It shares the world and the lore with the board game, and expands/diverges from it in plenty of places, but plays and feels differently. Both modes - campaign and Conquest - are entirely different games than what you've seen in the board game version.
We're working for the same company that made the board game and sometimes we're getting help from people who worked on the board game original but since it's, well, an entirely different thing (video games = different technological issues than board games) we're mostly a team of new people :)
I don't think it's currently possible to buy the board game - but check out its Kickstarter page for updates!
We certainly hope so! There are some proper names here and there but we do try to explain as much as possible (when it makes sense and fits the mood/tone) in the game :)
