Can you choose your class?

Sort of. It's really more based on what weapon you equip, but one is chosen from the start. However the princess is who you control in battle for some reason.

Classes are arbitrary. It doesn't matter what class anyone has. Each character has a bunch of skills (active and passive) that you can set and as a result they will be better with one weapon or another that compliments those skills.

You control the first character in your group, so you can use any character out of those available to you by putting him/her/it first.

When i farmed Bonds for Nadie i replaced her with the Princess and i realized how utterly slow Magic in this Game is. Okay doesn't matter let's give my Girl a Sword and put her to the Front. Just to find out that apparently the true Identity of the Divine Beast of Water must be a Turtle.....

Luckily leveling up Speed for everyone trough Leadership somewhat fixed it and she evolved from a Turtle to : a Turtle with running shoes.

Not sure if all "Mages" are so slow or if the Dev made Nadie so slow, because of her Special Ability which gives her decent Speed if at least one Wedge is on the Field.

since you played the Japaenese Version, how can i level up Agi so that this Turtle someday might evolve into uhhh [insert fast water animal] ? Does running around in Battles does the trick?

Actually i gonna test that real quick. Just gonna take Nadie to the first Stage alone, kill everyone except one enemy and then run around for a few minutes.

Edit : Running does nothing but dodging arrows does the trick.

Speed of casting or attacking depends on the weapon attribute. Attack speed is the parameter which shows how long it will take to cast a spell or to attack. The lower it is the faster you attack. Minimum is 10. So you can take any book that you use and upgrade it to be able to spam spells very quickly. But be careful as some books have default MltiMage ability which makes them shoot extra bolts, but those bolts are not free, you pay for them with durability. So if you increase speed too high AI will drain durability and break the book very quickly.

I just finished upgrading Farm for max resource gains and started upgrading Forge and other disciplines. Apparently Quality bonuses from Trade among other attributes increase Attack Speed on new weapons instead of decreasing it so bonus make them slower. Make sure you upgrade those to reduce the delays.

I could do that if i were a Millionaire xD. I am only in Ch1 and Attack Speed is one of the more expensive Options. So no Magic for Character 1 for me for a loooooooooong while. But it is fine Nadie already hits like a truck with her Sword.
+ She has her +150% Melee Damage Passive Ability making her a quite decent melee user. Just gonna switch her back to Mage in the Endgame xD.

Well the Turtle gained +8 Speed since my last Post thanks to some Single dodge farming, so this issue is kinda solved.

Nadie is great as support character, not as the controlled one. She can drop several wedges and increase their amount with time. Make sure to set Summon Wedge on auto-cast and she will spam them when she has enough mana until 10 are on the field then she just gets stuck casting them. If you give her one of the faster books she is also fine with magic.

I actually didn't try any mages in manual control. I used only Ariadne as an archer with a bow and Meldia as a swordman. Still waiting to upgrade few skills before I start investing in equipment seriously.

Btw, I am not sure if Speed actually affects running speed as there is a different skill in Leadership that improves running speed directly. You get it in Rennaisance and it is called Movement Basics - Increase movement speed in combat. +3%/level (3 levels). You can get a total of 39% increase. I wish there was some screen or help page that explained all stats.

Well i leveled Speed Basics to Lv.3/5 which gave everyone +3 Speed

It should work Nadie starts with 2 Agi and she really was slow as a Snail. Meanwhile Casco starts with 15 Agi and runs circles around her.

I mean i farmed Agi with Nadi and defintely feelt some improvement. Altough i also in the same Time leveled everyones Speed up one Time

Wait i test it with Goro who only has 4 Agi now. So he should be super slow just like Nadie was.

E: Well he wasn't super slow but now i am not exactly sure if Agi really does what i thought it does.

Doesn't help that the Inbattle Text says : +Spd and then when the battle ends it says +Agi.

Welp just got this from the Ultimate Version of Nadies Story Fight.

Ocean Tome
Atk : 375
Attack Speed : 40

Guess someone gonna go back to Magic.
..... Winning Ultimate Fights in Ch1 kinda breaks the Game x)

And I just found that 10 is the lowest that you can upgrade it with cash. But after spending some time in Item Field I lowered it to 5. I will try few more battles tomorrow to check what is the actual min.

Interesting altough 40 is already extremly fast around 2,5 seconds? considering that Nadie now deals 2100+ Damage to a Enemy Unit while my Melee Units deal around 200+ Damage.

Hell i even cleared Ult V. of the Abandoned House with a 0 Durability Tome at Wave 05/06. Back then i had not activated her Passive which gives her +200% Magic Attack so her Attacks only dealt 800 Damage and then 400 when the Tome broke. But 400 was still enough to clear the Stage altough it took almost Ten Minutes since everyone else was death past Wave 03/06.

One annoying part about this Tome is that his two Support Abilitys are supposed to deal damage around the point of impact. That does works fine just that who ever got hit by the Tome takes 2100 Damage and whoever is beside the Target takes......... .... ....... ...... 1 Damage

Agility is about how much stuff you can equip, among other things.
I used Cheat Engine for the money problem.

Nah, doesn't look like it. Schild has 24 agility and 1 extra equipment slot, Aeon has 16 agility and 8 extra equipment slots. It looks like those slots are fixed for each characters.

AP is increased by bond events. It is called Physical in their rewards, you get a ton of it. Also by some Leadership skills in Culture Development.
