Regardless of how many items you get, your basically paying for another game entirely, just to get some items early....
If I wasn't a huge fan of the Trails series as a whole, I would have been completely turned off by the INSANE and ridiculous DLC and not even looked at this game to buy...
But I mean I am already 8 games in, so I can't really ignore this one... Especially with how CS3 ended...
I understand, but all it means is that you're saved a couple of hours farming or fishing for them. Convenient, but nothing more than that.
By end game I estimate that I likely used somewhere in the ball park of 3,500 U-Mats.
Stuff really gets expensive to make in the late game.
Hell the final orbs for the mechs are like 96 each... and there is what... 5 orbs? That's practically 500 U-Mats on that alone. Of course though I upgraded them each time I could throughout the game too... so that's probably an additional couple hundred. Not counting the Pawn Shop accessories and quartz. Or weapon upgrades in each area of the game.
