For those who don't know, there is a "hard mode" in Vantage Masters. If you challenge someone you have beaten, you can choose to play them again at hard mode. I think you get more U-materials, but it's not required for anything else.

Yeah, i did that.
I beat every opponent which the game gave mne the opportunity to play (also loocked it up in a walkthrough so i don't miss someone).
Is there perhaps a shop that i missed that sells other vantage master cards then the ones Becky sells?

I was in similar situation. In my case it was Scherazard card that missing. There was no icon above her but option to start VM was active.

was it a water natial? because it might the one I'm missing

The Hard mode didn't feel that much harder to me, but was a nice way to earn more U-materials, so...Heh. =/

I followed the advice of putting high-level cards in my deck, like the same ones he was using, and putting them in play earlier with Reduce, with Sorcerer to create magic crystals. Basically, I did what he was doing. Within five turns, I had Arseid wiped out.

used beast to keep drawing cards and 3 vanish cards which deal 6 damage and if your master card is the paladin then it deals 7 damage instead, easy.

I ran a sorcerer deck, only ever lost once. Just focused on high power cards and cards with useful abilities.

The fundamental mechanics are to draw one card a turn and gain mana up to 10 per turn. Magic crystals and high level heroes accelerate mana so it's easy to cap out a few turns into the game.

It's best to stack up the expensive cards so you have options for using all the mana each turn. Stuns are great. Card draw is rare and helps a lot. Ranged units got nerfed from CS3 but are viable. Try to keep board control by wiping out your enemies, and snipe the hero when the opportunity presents itself. There's not much else to worry about, it's a simple side quest.
