Who is Rean's cannon love interest?

For the first 2 games I thought it was Alisa, cs3 confused me because the scene with Sara.

It's ALisa, it's just tha the devs couldn't decide what game they are making, so they just changed the concept as they went along. The 1st 2 games give illusion of choice, 3rd basically erases Rean's memory and 4th is the continuation of the 3rd. CS 4 is CS3 Part 2, in general.

They've always pushed Alisa, but also decided that choosing a romantic interest always proved popular. CS3 couldn't carryover due to the new hardware but it's still heavily implied Alisa's the one, And it's been a year and a half after CS2 with no tangible contact because of their new careers so at least it's given a somewhat justification.

Witcher 3 had an option to create the world building, considdering how simple CS games are, they are mostly text and static battles, there's no excuse for them to not be able to do the same.

Witcher also has a AAA studio behind it. The carryover from CS1 & 2 triggered certain events and dialogues made possible cause of the same hardware and rather quick release window. CS3 was developed on the previous gen consoles with a longer dev time and the carryover would mean very little given OC7's presence in the story. And it isn't hard to rationale why, and honesty it's a side feature with barely any relevance besides picking who you fancy anyhow. No branching paths or moral dilemmas just waifu-ism (unless you picked Elise).

you actually can carry over from 3 and if you carry over Alisa you get extra scenes and dialogue lines with her

At least they committed to Jusus being a necrophiliac. Yes Alisa is pushed but idk, in future games i figure Rean's Love life will take a back seat. I cant imagine he will be anything other than devoted to his job.

I mean Lloyd is given repeated nods to how every pair of tits in his vicinity wanted one of his batons while never making any statement about which one actually got one.
