Is There A Level Bug?

Can someone please help me with this. I just started the fourth installment and entering the maze I was On level 27. When it was time to leave the town I am on level 63. I am not sure if its because of my game transfers or not,

Don't worry, it's deliberately done by the game to show them getting their strength back. The max level in this game is 200 so don't worry about getting too strong.

It's all explained in the dialogue. You start off crippled from <things>, then speed montage back to normal strength.

It's a training arc. Perfectly normal. :p
