No official word yet, but that is definitely the suspected time frame based on multiple reasons.

It will probably be late March-Early April at worst.

I honestly think it’ll be March 2021. According to this Siliconera article from a day ago, Hajimari no Kiseki will come out Summer 2021 on Steam, with no news on Cold Steel 4, BUT that release window makes me think that it is even more likely now to come out Spring 2021. Considering that Cold Steel 3 came out March 2020 and Hajimari is coming Summer 2021, I think there’s a good chance it’ll be March 2021.

I'm not seeing how the math adds up for a "Hajmari" release on Steam in Summer 2021.

How is NISA translating both that and also Ys 9 at the same time?

And how is it that they are going to suddenly break with their tradition, by releasing the PC version before the PS4/PS5 version?

Except that Hajimari is NOT coming on summer 2021 ? Thats the switch version and not in western either. Hajimari is coming at 2022 at best.

Whatever site you have there its false. They never announced a Hajimari Western release. For perhaps the first time in these forums, Dragon is right ( I cant believe I just said that) . There is no way NISA is translating Ys 9 AND Hajimari at the same time nor a chance that a JRPG will release on PC and not on Playstation ( at the very least they would launch at the same day)

CS IV will indeed release late March /Early April though.

If you read the news post, it's not talking about a Western release. It's saying Hajimari will hit Steam in Summer 2021 for Japan users.

If it follows the same pattern we've had for previous releases, we won't get a western release of Hajimari on Steam until Spring 2023.

Hajimari in question is by Clouded Leopard by Taiwanese publisher for asian market. So it'll probably be just like Ao/Zero that are listed on Steam for spring release.

Perhaps it would be released in April

it will be worth the wait, i hope next they consider doing spin off games covering the other characters such as fie's time with the jaguars how she was found and more detail in how she ended up at thors. some untold stories there that could be fleshed out. or a arc during the civil war at crossbell - juna has a link to rein from that conflict (which was missing from cs2)

While I would like to see that Fie content, the Cold Steel Arc is finished. They are making/planing sequels for the future, not spin offs

The arc during civil war is the second crossbell game (crosbell games will be localised eventually ). Juna did not appear there originally since she was written in CS3 but I heard they added her to the EVO versions.

The next game is called Hajimari No kiseki , already released in Japan last summer and is speculated to come here in 2022. Its post CS4 . I wont go in detail as to what it is about to prevent spoilers.

And the next game after it releases in 2021 in Japan and starts the Calvard Republic Arc ( new characters etc). It will be called Trails of Black/ Kuro. We might see some old character appearnces though eventually ( Zin is a candicate )

They also said they want to make an Arteria game but no news on that front.

http://thelegendofheroes.com/tocs4/

Coming 2021 to Nintendo Switch and PC.

No date included. Steam store has no date so thats 2 pages total without any date except the year 2021.

Stop misleading people and calling people "clueless" when they just point out you are lying.

You are welcome to provide a LINK showing March 18th from OFFICIAL sources.
A third party website means nothing . The only ones who can say the date are NISA.
