Help! maybe a bug

Is my character, not meant to do any damage to the monsters? It lets me kill one, but then I can't kill anymore. I can't even pass the first wave of the game because of this.

No you are definitely supposed to be able to kill as many as you want. I haven't seen this issue but I've only been playing Anna. I'd do a reinstall. Even a file integrity verification

I'm playing the GOG version. Maybe it' only GOG or Anna will work for me. Going to try reinstall.

The GoG Build is just bugged. It doesn't matter if you choose the Male or the Female, both of your Chars won't do any damage at any point to any animals or Mutants as your own Workers too.

The Devs seem to have uploaded an broken Build on GoG and i am so far shocked that nobody from the Team in Poland has taken down the Store Webpage of the Game on GoG till the Developers back in Russia fix what is broken.

On the other Hand CD Projekt Red nowadays in General seem to have an issue with their own Quality Standards so i am not surprised that the Game is still being sold.

So you can either wait it out and hope that the Developers will upload an fixed Build on GoG too as soon as they can or go straight to the Support Section on GoG and request an full Refund.

It's up to you to decide if you support such an broken launch or have enough faith into the Devs to fix it over the upcoming hours or days.

Without app, online. You cannot damage any enemies + your pawns wont damage any mosnters too. So it is insta death on day1, if you are on screen wit the wall. if you go away for a few screens - sometimes your pawns will damage monsters off the screen.

I have the game updated now. Any idea when the offline installer will be updated?

Just tested the game with the lasted version. I still cannot shoot enemy's
