The Perfect Tower II

Machine speed vs production booster
I'm wondering which is better (I'm at MT7).

For now I have all my slots with machine speed boosters as I thought the increased belt speed would potentially get me to greater production gains faster.

But the production booster is much stronger.

So I guess my question is could the increased production from production boosters be leveraged in some way that I haven't thought of, or does it make sense to just stick with machine speed?

best way to get resources where you're at is just to mt up more, if you want to play optimally, don't touch factory anymore and focus on getting mt's, 1 t5 white producer is all that's recommended to make as it gets you enough resources with trading post bonuses to get you all the way to mt12, where tower testing makes resources more
so, use the production boosters

Too late. I have t5s for almost everything.

I've been stuck on MT7 for a long ass time, so until I figure that out I've got to do something.

Okay but why? I'm not sure what I can do with a little extra production at this phase of the game, which is why I asked.

more resources is usually more good, though, why can't you get to mt8?

I've tried several blueprints but they are either painfully slow or just fail into the hundreds of millions.

I have neglected the challenges so... I might need to suck it up and start doing more of those. But I've struggled on a few and even importing blueprints from challenge guides has not worked so I'm either missing something or these guides are outdated but, either way, it has been frustrating unlocking all of the modules.

there is a strategy of retarting every few minutes (one or something after getting to your record) to be able to use wave catalyst more effectively

The machine speed booster also leads to more resources though (through higher tier producers, etc). I think they lead to the same end goal, I just wasn't sure which is "better".

Omg thank you. When you said that something clicked and I went and tried again. I sailed through 100B... easily.

It was not a lack of modules but a lack of understanding how wave record affected wave progression.
