Info/Ideas on efficient infinity fragment farming/obtainment

Do we know if there is a way to get more infinity fragments from infinity enemies other than through contracts and the number of digits of infinities? Right now, I am simply chilling at 1B infinities on Region 1 easy mode as that is where I can basically instakill my enemies and still have them drop several fragments at once, but would going on higher difficulties or maps drop more fragments? Also, will 100B infinities be the cap for infinities indefinitely, or will it be allowed to go higher?

100 billion infinities is the limit, yes, higher difficulties will drop more fragments due to a military Perk, the only thing regions affect is the number of lanes and the enemy Spawns, which also affects kill speed, chaos is best, dark realm is second best
