I recommend try getting some of the modules that are inside of the infinity grid to help
You don't need to have 51/51 modules, just don't take modules that will kill you instantly
Enemies copy just 1 of your modules, so you might have up to 3 modules that are lethal to you by themselfs (or make enemies unkillable). Let's say you have Nature Attack, Crit, Nature Crit and another 10 modules that boost the attack. If an enemy has just 1 of them, they might do x10 damage, but it shouldn't one-shot you.
The enemies have innate 1/1e50 damage resistance, so you are probably not one-shotting them. To survive hits, you need either absolute defence (like universal shield), or to tank hits. To tank hits you need Universal Foundation and a few modules for hp/resistance.
Also look for sources of more damage/hp/shield/resistance, like t2 mine/arcade/lab/... Pretty much every building gives something.
